Do I need a computer?
No. Everything works on your phone: WhatsApp for adding products, and your back office and till in the phone's browser.
I'm not good with technology. Can I still do this?
Yes. If you can send a photo on WhatsApp, you can run your shop. The assistant answers in plain words, and a real person helps you during office hours.
How do my customers pay?
They order on your WhatsApp, and pay you by EFT into your own bank account (your bank details are shown when they order). The money goes straight to you. We take no commission. Card payments on your website are coming later.
What is AI credit?
When you send a photo, our AI tidies it up, makes shop photos and writes the listing. Each of those costs a few rand from your credit. Your first product's setup is free, the trial comes with R100, paying adds R300, and you can top up any time.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your website goes quiet, but nothing is deleted. Pay any time from your back office and it's back, just as you left it.
What if I miss a monthly payment?
We'll remind you. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, your website switches off, but everything is kept. Pay and it switches straight back on.
Can I use my own web address, like myshop.co.za?
Yes. Contact us and we'll set it up. Until then your shop lives at yourname.sellnownow.co.za, which works straight away.
How do I get into my back office?
Go to your web address and add /admin, or send us “back office link” on WhatsApp and we'll send you a link that signs you in.
Can I delete my shop?
Yes, any time, from your back office. Deleting is permanent. We keep only the invoices, because the tax rules say we must.
